Watched the Levis Motr Cycle Club’s 2023 Sellick’s Beach races on the week end via live-streaming and was interested to see the late Frank McNamara’s 16H Army Norton outfit working on the beach over the 2 days. Darren Winter, well known Adelaide sidecar rider now owns this outfit and he put it to good use patrolling the track and also towing broken down race bikes back to the pit area. With its 600cc side valve engine having plenty of torque and a drive to the sidecar wheel it did an admirable job. Frank was a dedicated Norton man and he would have been thrilled to see his old motorcycle in work.
